Private theatre near Jayanagar: getting to Rosae in Koramangala

Rosae does not have a private theatre in Jayanagar. Our only venue is in Koramangala 5th Block, roughly 6 to 8 km east of Jayanagar, which is usually a 20 to 40 minute cab ride depending on traffic.

For Jayanagar residents that is a short trip. Here is how to get there, when to go, which room to choose and what to pair with it.

How far is Rosae from Jayanagar?

Rosae is at 67 Jyothi Nivas College Road, Industrial Area, 5th Block, Koramangala. From Jayanagar the distance is approximately 6 to 8 km, depending on which block you start from.

Getting there by metro

Jayanagar has its own station on the Green Line, a short walk from the 4th Block market. From there:

1. Take the Green Line one stop to RV Road.
2. Change to the Yellow Line and ride to BTM Layout.
3. Take an auto or cab for the last few kilometres to Jyothi Nivas College Road.

The Yellow Line opened in August 2025. The metro avoids road traffic for most of the trip, but the change and the last leg mean a cab is usually faster. Check BMRCL for current timings, especially for late slots.

When to go: slot timing advice

Rosae runs five 3-hour slots every day at the same price: 10am to 1pm, 1 to 4pm, 4 to 7pm, 7 to 10pm and 10pm to 1am. There is no weekend or evening surcharge.

As general advice, not a guarantee:

• Morning and early afternoon slots usually mean an easy drive through BTM Layout.
• The weekday 7pm slot can clash with the evening rush around Silk Board and BTM, so leave with a buffer.
• The 10pm slot suits dinner in Jayanagar first, with lighter roads afterwards. If you plan to take the metro home, check the last train time first.

If traffic holds you up, you can still check in any time within your booked 3 hours, but the slot ends at the booked time. It helps to arrive about 15 minutes early.

Things near Jayanagar to pair with your outing

• Jayanagar 4th Block: the shopping complex and the streets around it are packed with clothes, jewellery and street food. Browse and snack before an afternoon slot.

• Lalbagh Botanical Garden: one of Bangalore's oldest gardens, about 2 km from 4th Block. A morning walk here before a 1pm slot makes an easy half-day.

• Vidyarthi Bhavan, Gandhi Bazaar: a long-running Basavanagudi institution for masala dosa and filter coffee, a short drive from Jayanagar. Expect a queue at weekends.

• Bugle Rock and the Bull Temple, Basavanagudi: a quiet park and a historic temple close together, good for a slow walk with family or friends.

• Ragigudda Anjaneya Temple: a hilltop temple in Jayanagar 9th Block, near the Ragigudda station on the Yellow Line.

Which room should you pick?

Rosae has nine private rooms, each booked only for your group. Prices are per 3-hour slot, GST included.

For two people (date night or an anniversary): CINEPOD starts at Rs 1,097 with an HD screen, and CINEPOD PRO adds 4K and Dolby sound for Rs 1,397. For recliners, choose PHANTOM (Rs 1,597), DREAM (Rs 1,748), STELLAR (Rs 1,848) or INFINITY (Rs 2,997).

For friends or family: COMET seats 6, FUTURA seats 7 and COSMOS seats 8, all with 4K and Dolby sound. Group rooms are priced by headcount: Rs 1,648 for 2 guests plus Rs 250 per extra guest (Rs 3,148 for 8 in COSMOS). Children under 5 don't count towards the headcount. Guests must be 18+, but children under 18 can come in a group booking with an adult.

Every room includes air conditioning, access to the major OTT platforms, washroom and lounge access, and on-site parking (not guaranteed at busy times). There are no cameras inside the theatre rooms. For anniversary plans, see anniversary celebrations.

Booking

Choose a room and slot online, and pay a small advance. Pay the balance at the venue by cash, card or UPI, or pay it online beforehand from your phone, where your booking shows the remaining amount. ID proof is required at check-in: upload it on the website first, or reception will check it at the venue and upload a photo for you.
