If you live, work or are staying near MG Road, this guide covers how to get to Rosae, when to leave, which room to pick and what to pair with the evening.

Travel times below are approximate. They are typical figures and vary a lot with traffic, rain and time of day.

Getting there by metro
There is no direct metro from MG Road to Koramangala 5th Block today. MG Road station is on the Purple Line, while the nearest open stations to Rosae are BTM Layout and Central Silk Board on the Yellow Line, both a short auto ride away.
To use the metro you would change twice (Purple to Green at Majestic, then Green to Yellow at RV Road), so a cab or auto is usually quicker. The planned Pink Line will connect MG Road towards south Bangalore; check BMRCL for its current opening status before relying on it.
When to leave: slot timing advice
Rosae runs five 3-hour slots every day at the same price: 10am to 1pm, 1 to 4pm, 4 to 7pm, 7 to 10pm and 10pm to 1am. There is no weekend or evening surcharge.
As general advice, not a guarantee:
- The 10am and 1pm slots usually mean lighter roads from central Bangalore.
- The 7pm slot overlaps with the weekday evening rush, so leave MG Road early or pick a weekend.
- The 10pm slot tends to have easier roads and suits a late dinner on the MG Road side first.
If you're delayed, you can still check in any time within your booked 3 hours, but the slot ends at the booked time, so build in a buffer and aim to arrive about 15 minutes early.

Church Street: bookshops, cafés and restaurants packed into one short street. Blossom Book House is a long-running favourite for browsing before a film.
UB City: a quieter, upmarket spot for coffee or dinner off Vittal Mallya Road, useful if you want a calmer meal before a late slot.
Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum: on Kasturba Road next to Cubbon Park, and good for a daytime visit with friends before a 4pm slot.
Brigade Road: shopping and street-side eateries if your group wants something casual before heading south.
